Fun, fun, fun!

One of the key things about Ruthless Blues has always been the fact that the band has never taken itself too seriously. After all, it was originally set up as a "fun" band and fun has therefore always been an important element of the band's live shows. Musically, the band has always been as tight as the proverbial duck's backside, but on stage it was always obvious that the band were actually having fun playing.

The band has always been keen to promote a party atmosphere and get their audiences involved in their shows. In fact Stevie does like to develop a rapport with his audiences! Audience intimidation, er.. sorry! we mean participation is a fact of life at Ruthless gigs.

Whether it be by playing themed fancy dress parties or Riverboat Shuffles on the Thames or even by the inclusion of the odd inflatable or toy musical instrument in the show, there was always something visual going on that set Ruthless Blues apart from other bands.

This obviously didn't always go down well with the blues purists but so what? There were planty of other more serious bands on the circuit to cater for their needs.
